3/30
What a rough monday. I started out by waking up at 7 to go for a run only to find it pouring rain outside. I ended up driving myself to Lovett so I could run on the hamster wheel that is the indoor track in the glover gym. I was interrupted by Buddy Warren's PE class as they were on their ultimate frisbee unit. Luckily he was able to let me out of the stairwell that I forgot lock behind you as you enter. After my short run, I hustled to Any Lab Test Now in Smyrna so I could do my first Lipid Panel test. Unfortunately the name is a little misleading. When they said Any Lab Test Now, they intended for the now to be interpreted very loosely. They were scheduled to open at 8:30, so I arrived at 8:30. The nurse however, decided to stroll in 25 minutes late at 8:55. There were others outside waiting that said she was almost always late. Fortunately, I was able to quickly get my blood drawn which was my least favorite part of the day. Immediately as I felt the blood start to flow out of my arm, I did not know if I would pass out or throw up first. Luckily I did neither, but I attribute most of the discomfort to the fact that I was not allowed to eat or drink anything other than water for 8 hours before the test. After this I was able to grab some CFA for breakfast and go my calculus class. The rest of the day was rough as I felt pretty crummy and I had to study for my huge calculus test the next day.
